Bring the whole family and celebrate America’s birthday, Sykesville-style! Parade floats will be judged, and awards for floats will be announced after the parade. The parade should be over just in time for lunch and ice cream in downtown Sykesville.
American Spirit Parade July 1
Come join us as we pay tribute to America's heroes! The Town of Mount Airy will be hosting our American Spirit Parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. July 1.
Mount Airy Fireworks July 3
The Mount Airy Fireworks celebration is set for July 3 at the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company Carnival Grounds with live bands, food vendors and a free fireworks display approximately at 9:30 p.m.

Star Spangled Fireworks Train - Walkersville Southern Railroad July 3
Board the train for a ride and spectacular view of the fireworks. Train departs at 8 PM from our station. We'll ride to the end of the line, then return to a designated viewing area where we will get off of the train to watch the fireworks.

Carroll County 4th of July Celebration July 4
Visit the Carroll County Farm Museum on July 4th for Carroll’s largest fireworks display at our Fourth of July Celebration starting at 4pm with fireworks going off at sundown (approximately 9:30pm). Admission is $10 per car. There will be food, live entertainment, children’s activities and more.

July 4th Weekend at the Carroll County Farmer's Market July 5
On Saturday, July 5th The Carroll County Farmer’s Market WILL BE OPEN 8:00am – 1:00pm to help you with your 4th of July weekend celebrations. We will have up to 20 vendors participating including plants, local early summer vegetables, baked goods and crafts.
